The course aims to leave you well-equipped to support and prepare students prior to stressful periods, such as GCSE exams.
The one day workshop will provide you with the following:
- An understanding of all forms of anxiety and the range of anxiety-provoking situations young people may face, such as GCSE exams
- An understanding of the effects of anxiety:
Physical – the impact anxiety can have on the human body in the short and long term
Thoughts – the negative thoughts anxiety can generate in a person’s mind, and how this can affect them and their understandg of the world around them
Behaviour – how anxiety can affect a person’s behaviour
- Information on how to access NHS services for young people experiencing severe anxiety
You will also be shown how to deliver anxiety management workshops to young people.
All delegates will receive 250 complimentary copies of the Anxiety Management Guide, lunch and refreshments are also included.
